I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
